A modern interpretation of the sweet St Tropez life, this contemporary residence embodies seamless indoor-outdoor living complete with swaying palm fronds and all the opulent trimmings.
Designed by local architecture firm SAOTA and located just a hop, skip and a jump from the beach of Plage de Pampelonne, this suave holiday residence is the stuff of seaside dreams. Its south-facing position laps up sunshine, while the garden side opens up to a raised living and dining area that flows onto the pool and sunbathing terrace. The outdoor lounge and cocktail bar are bordered by a lazy pine forest.
The design comprises an interplay of solid walls and large openings created by full height windows and sliding doors that transform the space to suit the owner’s needs. Palm tress serve as tropical sculptural features while textured plaster planes and rectilinear panels make for a contemporary take on the characteristic St Tropez stucco finish.
Upon entering the residence, a capiz shell chandelier occupies the double volume entrance hall while large frameless windows welcome jaw-droppingly dramatic views over the pool and garden.
