From uplifting illustrations by local illustrator Yay Abe and chess sets featuring iconic city buildings to a new electronic Volkswagen bus and furniture made from paper, these are the VISI team’s top picks of the week.

1. Pao Hui Kao’s Paper Pleats Furniture Collection

Each piece of furniture by Pao Hui Kao is made from tracing paper bound in rice glue. The collection was inspired by the designer’s sensitivity to chemicals and the need for more eco-friendly products.
