From a bright, locally-designed ottoman and seriously cute appliances to rose gold glassware and emoji pool balls, these are the VISI team’s top picks of the week.
Hyerim Shin’s Cute Appliances
“Royal College of Art graduate Hyerim Shin has designed an adorable range of appliances,” says online editor Lindi Brownell Meiring. “Inspired by the Japanese concept of kawaii, meaning cuteness, these appliances do cute things – for example, the toaster wheezes and sneezes when there are too many breadcrumbs in its tray. Her range also includes a rubbish bin and a vacuum cleaner. I just love the way they look!”
