New From Mungo: Dhow Bath Sheets

WORDS Lindi Brownell Meiring

After Mungo’s recent addition of five new colourways to the Juno Throw colour palette, the local textile brand has also announced the launch of a brand-new towel.

The Dhow Towel, Mungo’s first 100% linen bath sheet and the largest towel in the brand’s range, is inspired by the dhows spotted along the beaches of the East African coast. Made from sustainable Belgian-grown linen and woven at the Mungo Mill in Plettenberg Bay, the bath sheets are ideal to use both at home or on the beach.

Using a subtle colour palette of indigo and white, the Dhow collection is available in three variations, namely the waffle-woven Dhow Block, the armur-woven Dhow Diamond and the honeycomb-woven Dhow Stripe.

The towels retail at R800 each.
