Locally Made: Revel Linen

Cape Town-based brand Revel Linen, whose products we recently spotted at KAMERS/Makers, stocks a range of 100% linen, from duvet covers to tablecloths.

The linen is sourced from fair-trade weavers across Europe before it’s assembled back home in Cape Town, where embroidery, sewing and other needlecraft takes place as part of a skills creation initiative.

Revel Linen aims to create soft, top quality linen that can be used for years to come. Made from flax plants, linen is both cool in summer and warm in winter, It’s also breathable and hypoallergenic.
