The Nippon wallpaper collection by Sandberg Wallpaper, now available locally at The Silk and Cotton Co, is inspired by the Japanese wabi-sabi tradition.

The designs pay tribute to the pure natural form of imperfection, and to the hard work, dedication and effort put into traditional Japanese craft, ceremonies and gardens.

The collection of 12 patterns aims to take viewers on a journey through Japan, celebrating the cities, villages and natural surroundings.

Each design was initially hand-drawn, paying homage to traditional Japanese techniques.
