Earlier this this year, in March 2015, we wrote about ARCHIZOO, a series of illustrations by Italian architect Federico Babina that re-imagined animals into architectural forms.

Babina is at it again, this time with a series of architectural illustrations inspired by famous movie directors.

“Directors are like the architects of cinema,” says Babina on the connection between his creations and the directors. There are 27 illustrations in total, including iconic names such as George Lucas, David Lynch, Lars von Trier, Wes Anderson and the Coen Brothers. Each one is drawn in a style reminiscent of its namesake director’s archetypal aesthetic.
