Belle Nouvelle Paris Apartment

WORDS Michaela Stehr IMAGES Mathieu Fiol

This 140 m² apartment in the centre of Paris features contemporary design elements with touches of traditional decor and breathtaking city views.

Interior designer Nika Vorotynstseva planned what the interiors would look like by studying both modern and traditional Parisian styles, juxtaposing both throughout the space.

The rooms make use of modern fittings with light touches of historical glamour, creating the perfect balance between old and new.

The open-plan living space and kitchen are flooded with natural light, giving the space an airy feel. “The centrepiece of this interior is considered to be the emerald wall with decorative protruding elements in the TV area, which was created according to our sketches made in Ukraine,” says Nika.

To create balance, Nika introduced an Ella suspension lamp from DelightFULL as a focal point in the kitchen above the table.
