These tiny affordable movable homes were designed with cash-strapped renters in mind.

Dutch architecture firm Heijmans has created a prefabricated home made out of solid wood frames and solar panels that can be erected almost anywhere, in just one day.  Compact and energy efficient, the Heijmans ONE dwellings are intended for placement on the derelict sites that are found in most of the world’s big cities. The little buildings include a kitchen, bathroom, living room, bedroom and even a patio.
