This video by NOWNESS explores the home of famed London-based architect, Alex Michaelis, who makes up one half of the duo that is Michaelis Boyd (see their work on the &Beyond Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge here, as well as the exclusive Soho Farmhouse).
“A home is a place of refuge from the world,” says Alex in the clip, where he describes his abode as a space filled with curves inspired by ‘60s modernist architecture. His home makes use of natural materials, colourful lighting and includes fun design elements for his children to enjoy, from slides to poles.
