Self-taught Malaysian miniature artist Pui Wan Lim creates tiny works of art, from small plates and furniture pieces to minuscule versions of snacks, all of which are inspired by memories, as well as things that she sees, eats and observes.
Pui Wan works under the name picoworm, which combines “pico” (a small metric unit) and “worm” from the word “bookworm”. Apart from the obvious reference to her initials, the name also refers to her passion for creating small things.
