Parisian crockery brand YATO (You Are The One) by artist Béa Corteel is now available in South Africa.
Béa paints on vintage porcelain plates, drawing inspiration from music, pop art, poetry and literature. Second-hand plates are given new life and are transformed into bright works of art.
Each piece is microwave and oven proof, although hand washing is suggested to retain the crockery’s vibrancy.
Each plate is unique. Personalised orders can also be made.
YATO plates are currently available at The Manufacture pop-up store in Cape Town until 12 February 2016, or through thisiscapetown.co.za thereafter.
