Woodwork, at the Southern Guild Gallery in Cape Town, is an exhibition showcasing 22 of the top names in southern African design.
Each designer will be displaying limited edition pieces that celebrate the diversity of wood.
Gallery co-founder Trevor McGowan expains, “Wood is natural, organic and elemental and reflects a sense of homeliness and warmth that people crave as we head towards the winter season.”
The list of participants includes Adam Birch, Andrew Early, Atang Tshikare, Babacar Niang, Cameron Platter, Daniella Mooney, David Krynauw, Ebrahim Assur, Guideline MNF, James Mudge, Jasper Eales, Koop, Laurie Wiid van Heerden, Leonard de Villiers, Meyer von Wielligh, Osterwald & Sons, Peter Mabeo, Philippe Bousquet, Pierre Cronje, Ramara, Stas Trzebinski and Xandre Kriel.
Woodwork will be running from 5 June until 28 August 2015.
