This video, directed by Emile Rafael for NOWNESS, takes us inside the home of famed Danish architect Knud Holscher.
“The house, in reality, is a bit of an experiment,” explains Knud in the video, “because the kitchen, bedroom, living room, office space, everything is in a single spatial context.”
The serene space, which manages to be both sparse and cosy at the same time, is filled with books, art and interesting objects.
“From time to time I stop and think that perhaps this is a damn strange box to be living in,” adds Knud, ”but it doesn’t last long. The house brings me a lot of delight and I am very happy with it.”
