Local ethical jewellery, accessories and womenswear atelier, headed up by designer Katherine-Mary Pichulik, has created two Pichulik keyrings exclusively for VISI.
The zig-zag Tiye keyring is inspired by Queen Tiye, a significant feminist force in Ancient Egypt, known for holding great political and spiritual power.
This 20-cm-long keyring is made from dynamic and polyester rope and is embellished with wax cotton and gold lurex thread. It is adorned with a ceramic cuff and finished with a custom rope closure.
The zig-zag Kahina keyring is inspired by Queen Kahina, a Berber warrior queen and seer who led her North African nation against an invasion.
The 10-cm-long keyring is made from dynamic rope and is embellished with wax cotton and gold lurex thread. It is adorned with ceramic and brass beads and finished with a custom rope closure.
The Tiye keyring retails at R750 and the Kahina keyring retails at R680.
