Tten Store in Plettenberg Bay

WORDS Michaela Stehr

Interactive concept store tten Bazaar in Plettenberg Bay provides a retail experience that engages, connects and inspires visitors.

The website explains, “tten Bazaar is experiential retail. In creating the concept, style impresarios’ Preston Schroeder and Braam Naude recognise that people seek shopping as a form of pleasure, and demand interesting experiences.”

Colourblocked walls, bespoke furniture, wallpaper and decor make tten a creative space setting it apart from regular retailers. The store houses multi-brand fashion and accessory collections as well as a curated selection of homeware including Roche Bobois, Tom Dixon, Lola James Harper and Bamford.

To create an elevated shopping experience, tten also house a coffee canteen and a champagne bar supplying Delaire Graff Wines and Method Cap Classique.

The walls and spaces are adorned with local art and sculptures that mimic the scenery of the garden route, highlighting green and pink hues.
