Tournesol Swimming Pool

The Tournesol swimming pool in Lingolsheim, France, received an revamp using LG’s HI-MACS tiles, achieving a modern and futuristic curve.

The pool’s restoration and extension was completed by architecture firm URBANE KULTUR. The idea to use HI-MACS’ Solid Surface was the perfect solution to keep the shape of the domed interior ceilings and fittings.

The flexibility and versatility of HI-MACS gave the designers an opportunity to reinvent the space, while keeping the original architecture and integrity of the building.

The made-to-measure Alpine White HI-MACS panels were assembled and arched along the interior by ADJ France, with the surface made up of 48 150 200cm units.

The sinks, sanitary facilities and furniture in the reception area are also a part of the HI-MACS brand and offer strong resistance to stains, scratches and general wear expected in high traffic areas.
