Founded by Bonnie Stanley of Heavenly Feather, Starch Living channels her sixteen years of experience curating high-end linens for luxury hotels and superyachts into a tactile, transportive new collection for the home. With its ethos of understated luxury, the brand is specifically designed for those who value meticulous attention to detail.
“At Starch Living, we believe your linens should stand with the best in the world and elevate your home experience,“ says Bonnie. “Our aim was to create something timeless and honest, luxury that doesn’t shout, but is deeply felt. Every fibre, finish, and fold is considered and perfected.”
The collection showcases long-staple Egyptian cotton spun to a silken finish, buttery sateens that soften with time, and crisp Normandy linen woven with an elegant finish. Starch Living offers an edited collection of bed, bath and table linens, alongside complementary lifestyle pieces such as robes, kaftans, and accessories, which are made to elevate life’s quiet rituals.
More than a design philosophy, Starch Living is grounded in conscious craftsmanship. The brand champions small-batch production and enduring design, promoting mindful consumption and reducing global freight emissions through local assembly in Johannesburg. “From sourcing exquisite mills and fabrics across Italy to refining every detail in our Johannesburg studio, this has always been about more than textiles,” says Bonnie.
Every product is made to be loved, used and passed down – not replaced. “Starch Living is about creating something real. Something lasting. An Experience.” | starchliving.co.za
