Having run a successful event management company for many years, Andrew Shelly and Heloise Fourie identified a need for beautiful, exclusive event furniture for hire. So they spoke to a few South African designers and artisans, and the result is a new designer furniture hire company, called original. Their launch range comprises items from Vogel, LSD by Leg Studios, Pedersen + Lennard and Saks Corner.
Andrew and Heloise hope to expand their portfolio and collaborate with many more local designers to offer a range of styles to a diverse clientele.
Here at VISI HQ, we’re charmed by the furniture available for hire, especially because it’s been put together into collective groupings featuring some of our favourites among the four brands’ most iconic pieces. The ensembles are available for private and corporate events, photo shoots and film productions.
