The new Opulent Living Concept Store & Gallery has opened its doors on Cape Town’s buzzing Kloof Street.

Renowned local interior designer Sarah Ord oversaw the transformation of number 24 Kloof Street into a bright and bold space. This emerald green haven is offset with sapphire blue accents and a statement oversized electric blue lampshade. Black-and-white checkered flooring contrasts the striking surrounding colours.

The store boasts an array of local art, bespoke design pieces and lifestyle brands.

“We are sourcing and choosing products which we feel fit under the umbrella ‘the finer things in life,’” explains co-founder Barbara Lenhard, from handbags and jewellery to selected fashion items and opulent gifts. “It’s all about accessible luxury; we have curated a covetable mix that I feel will appeal to a vast range of shoppers.”

Opulent Living Concept Store & Gallery is situated at 24 Kloof Street, Cape Town and is open from 10am to 5:30pm on weekdays and from 10am to 2pm on Saturdays.
