Mini Treehouses: Jedediah Corwyn Voltz

Los Angeles-based artist and set designer Jedediah Corwyn Voltz builds tiny playful treehouses in bonsai trees, succulents and house plants.

His sculptural series entitled Somewhere Small captures the whimsical nature of miniature, magical things with over 25 little houses made from wood, fabric, handmade pottery, mini paintings and precious stones.

Jedediah plans his homes to grow with the plants as opposed to constricting them, and works with layering made up of lots of ladders and levels. His house is filled with architecturally adorned plants.
