Mini Animal Sculptures You’ll Love

Canada-based maker Melissa McCarthy has been making tiny animal sculptures for more than eight years.

Each little nature-inspired design from MadeWithClayAndLove is sculpted and glazed by hand before being fired twice in a kiln. “My goal is not to create replicas,” she says. “My goal is to capture the essence of each little creature, while maintaining a minimalist design.”

Made using ceramic and polymer clay, Melissa’s creations, of which there are over 120 variations, include miniature elephants, red pandas, sloths, foxes, cats and birds.
