Design and architecture firm YØ DEZEEN is behind the design of this simple, bold bachelor pad in Kiev, Ukraine.

Described by its designers as a cognac: noble, strong and sophisticated, this dark interior boldly boasts just the right amount of sass and elegance. The apartment features a spacious, open-plan layout washed with a monochromatic palette, and complemented by a warm contrast of dotted suede browns and light-coloured shaggy rugs.

Textured walls, solid wood floors, glass accents, black tiles and moody hues are also appropriately contrasted with gold light fixtures, a touch of indoor greenery and large windows that welcome gentle cascading light into the space, creating a warm ambience in the comfortable darkness.
