PHOTOS Oliver Hermanus
In the first of our online series of real homes, we visit designer Niel Meiring and writer Lindi Brownell in a cottage they have personalised with a menagerie of family nostalgia and vintage treasure. We were charmed by their Francophile sensibilities, individualistic curation and interesting arrangements. Extending the authenticity, filmmaker Oliver Hermanus used a genuine Mamiya 645 camera with Velvia 100 slide film by Fujia to set the mood.
