
It’s the in drink to enjoy this summer and, according to the folk at Hendrick’s Gin, not only does a gin cocktail activate the senses but it can also add to the mood you are trying to create at any gathering.
Distilled in Scotland – a country known more for whisky than gin – Hendrick’s Gin has a complex flavour thanks to being infused not only with the traditional botanicals like juniper berries, coriander, orange peel and chamomile but also with rose and cucumber.
INGREDIENTS
- 50 ml Hendrick’s Gin
- 10 ml cucumber syrup
- 20 ml lemon juice
- 75 ml ginger beer
- Candyfloss to taste
METHOD
Stir all the ingredients together except the candyfloss. Put candyfloss in a fancy wine glass and pour the mix into the glass. Add 2 to 3 blocks of ice to keep the cocktail chilled. Garnish with a cucumber ribbon.
