In a bid to take back your living room, Samsung recently unveiled its innovative The Frame TV to local audiences, and it’s as pretty as a picture.
No matter how far technology advances, how crisp the picture or how flat the screen, a television tends to dominate the living room in most homes and, turned off, it’s just a big black void. Enter The Frame by Samsung.
Designed to look as if it is mounted in a picture frame, this Samsung TV enters Art Mode when it is switched off, so it displays artworks or family photographs. The illusion of a framed picture is achieved as it sits flat against the wall thanks to an absence of wires and a no-gap wall mount. It has only a thin power cable and an optical cable linking the TV to a box where the regular cable connections are found.
Samsung’s OneRemote lets you control the channels, art and connected devices without requiring setup. The exceptional picture quality is courtesy of 4K Ultra HD resolution and more than 1 billion colours. There are a number of bezel frame options to suit the subject matter, which includes the professionally curated Samsung Collection of 100 artworks by 37 artists across 10 genres, comprising drawings, paintings, photographs and digital works. Plus you can view and buy internationally acclaimed artists’ works, either on a permanent or a monthly basis, from the online Art Store. The Frame is truly a modern work of art.
