WORDS Amelia Brown
“Architecture and objets d’art form not only the background of our lives but, if designed well, [are] intrinsically part of the emotional and aesthetic experience of our spaces,” says Shaun, who has used this as the basis for his gallery-style exhibit.
Shaun’s selection of groundbreaking commercial and residential architectural projects will be presented in a printed format, printed by Silvertone International, as well as some 3-D model displays. His vision for the display includes a bespoke carpet created using an urban plan drawing by architectural firm StudioMAS and crafted by Belgotex. The stand will feature bespoke furniture from Pretoria-based multi-disciplinary design studio Luvarre and lighting by Streamlight.
Design Joburg takes place at the Sandton Convention Centre, from 25 to 27 May 2018. Find out more at designjoburg.com.
