Design Indaba Emerging Creatives Call To Entry 2020

Want to showcase your design talent? You can now submit your work for Design Indaba’s Emerging Creatives programme for 2020.

Fifty young illustrators, architects, furniture designers, jewellers, multidisciplinary artists and graphic designers will be chosen to showcase their work at the 2020 Design Indaba Festival, running from 26 – 28 February 2020 in Cape Town.

“What the programme did and is still doing for my business I could have never imagined,” says rising fashion designer Abongile Gwele of Apples & Oranges, who was part of the 2016 Emerging Creatives Programme.

The programme, which was established in 2005, helped to launch designers such as Laduma Ngxokolo, Andile Dyalvane and Katherine-Mary Pichulik.

The Emerging Creatives Programme allows the selected 50 creatives to attend the simulcast, participate in a workshop and use the platform as grounds for networking to further their establishing careers.
