WORDS Malibongwe Tyilo
Each year in February, we look forward to Design Indaba’s Emerging Creatives programme, which highlights 40 young talents, chosen from over 400 entries, covering a variety of disciplines including architecture, fashion design, illustration, furniture design and jewellery design.
In the past, many a creative has managed to use the platform as a launch pad for their careers. Unlike previous years, where the programme was presented at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, this year’s exhibition, which is presented in partnership with the Department of Arts and Culture, will be hosted at the popular Watershed in the V&A Waterfront. We can’t wait to take it all in.
