Cool Spaces: The Other Radio

Using music as a tool to connect people, The Other Radio in Cape Town is an online station broadcasting diverse and creative talent from their city hub to the world.

Run by Aaron Peters and Philippus Johan, the green space was created in collaboration with Joburg-based visual artist LIMB. Juxtaposing wood and shades of green with real plants, the space is playful and creative, providing the perfect space to inspire music and a connected conscious from a Cape Town inner-city rooftop with sweeping urban views.

The new space has been launched in conjunction with a new website designed for live broadcasting and archiving music. The Other aims to build a space of inclusivity, bringing music to everyone, from everyone.
