17 South African brands took having fun to the next level with this playful collaboration.
As we get older, it’s easy to forget the importance of play. Children of all ages learn by having fun. It contributes greatly to their development on a personal and social level – its importance is definitely not something we can neglect even in the midst of a pandemic. We just have to find simpler and safer ways to make it possible.
Dough Ray Me, a Cape Town-based playdough and sensory play brand recently collaborated with 17 other local brands to create an outdoor playroom set in a forest. This experience was created with care and intention. “To inspire and motivate that local brands do work together and encourage one another. Bringing all the brands together into one space. All the brands involved are of course brands aimed for children,” says owner Amy Nel of the purpose of the collaboration.
It’s wonderful to see so many proudly South African business joining forces. All of these brands are specifically geared towards products and services suitable for children.
