Initiated by Blok, the PARK(let) project aims to create a space where the public can relax, interact and enjoy the city.
The PARK(let), launching in December 2015, will occupy two parking lots outside the Blok showroom on bustling Regent Road in Sea Point.
In conjunction with City of Cape Town and Future Cape Town, the concept behind the project is to change the way we think about streets and pavements, not as spaces to quickly pass through, but rather to stay and engage with people and the surrounding environment.
Currently under construction with a leading architecture firm and planned to open in time for the summer season, the PARK(let_ will offer a user-friendly space to pause and sit, and see Regent Road from a different angle. Free wifi will be provided inside the PARK(let), as well as a seating arrangement that can accommodate both small and larger groups.

* The Park(let) project is complete and Sea Point community members have already started making use of this space.
