Bright and beautiful printed floral rugs from Babylonstoren, one of the oldest Cape Dutch farms renowned for its incredible garden, will transform any floor into a gardenscape.
Fynbos, roses, artichokes, waterblommetjies… Flowers, vegetables, fruit and herbs grow in abundance within Babylonstoren’s 3,5 hectares. These plant-inspired rugs, an extension of the farm’s printed linen range, celebrate this bounty and bring the vibrancy of spring inside.
Whether your decor is bold, eclectic or minimalist, there’s a lush Babylonstoren rug to complement your space. Choose a generous 1,6 m x 1 m rug for a monochrome bathroom, or mix and match more than one design in the same room. If a classic blue-and-white palette is more your style, the range includes a Delft design, inspired by the remnants of ancient Delft china excavated on the farm during the establishment of Babylonstoren’s gardens.
The prices for different sizes are bath rug (1,6 m x 1 m), R3 900; round rug (2 m), R9 900; rectangular rug (2m x 2,9m), R12 500; and rectangular rug (4m x 3m) R25 000.
