A breathtaking home situated on the slopes of Lion’s Head in Cape Town, designed and completed by the talented team at SAOTA in 2014, recently won a 2016 Architizer A+Award.

The 2 200 square foot contemporary family home was entered into the Private House category of the competition. It was designed to maximise the breathtaking 360 degree views of the sea, surrounding mountains, Robben Island, Twelve Apostles and Camps Bay.

The concrete home incorporates indoor-outdoor living with a fluid flow from the outside seating area to the interior of the home. Interior design by Debra Parkington of Studio Parkington brings a sophisticated and uncluttered feel to the space.
