A4 Lamps find homes

In our latest edition, VISI 53, we asked you to send snaps of how you used your free Heath Nash A4 Lamp.

The exclusive designer lamp, bagged with each magazine, has already added a sophisticated spark to many homes, as seen in this inspiring picture gallery.

We’ve also had some lovely feedback from readers.

“I usually read VISI on my iPad via Zinio (don’t you just love technology?). But as I got to page 44 of VISI 53, I was a bit upset,” writes VISI reader Leroux Botha.

“Obviously you can’t digitally give your readers and subscribers a gift like the Heath Nash lights. So I took your advice and went out and bought four issues (the woman behind the counter was visibly perplexed with me buying four copies of the same magazine). It was worth every cent.

“Our kitchen counter lights in our apartment in The Refinery Complex in Milpark had really ugly shades (in blue… so not the color scheme I had in mind). I removed the hideous shades and replaced them with the Heath Nash ones.”

If you’ve assembled your A4 Lamp, please send the pictures on to web@visi.co.za, so we can share them with the rest of the VISI community.

If you haven’t assembled your lamp yet, be sure to look at our step-by-step instructions before getting started. For instance, it’s important to use a CFL or energy-saving bulb. After all, we’d like you to enjoy the lamp just as much as we’ve enjoyed putting it together for you…

Please note: VISI cannot be held responsible for any electrical faults or possible fire damage caused by incorrectly installed light fittings or badly fitted lampshades. Please consult a qualified electrician when installing a new light fitting. When fitting your Heath Nash shade, ensure that the lamp ring holds the shade firmly in place above the bulb, so that the Tyvek sheets don’t rest on the hot bulb.
