A carpet out of rubber tyres

There’s still life in an old tyre after all. A new range of outdoor rugs by Hertex gives the inner tubes of bicycles a fresh, practical purpose.

The Step-out outdoor range makes for excellent picnic or beach mats, and come in five striking designs: Zen, Yoga, Yin and Yang and Cyclo.

Top of our list is the Cyclo range, made from bicycle tubes that are slit and handcrafted into woven structures. No chemicals or finishing products are used in the manufacturing process, creating a truly honest recycled product.

If you prefer brights instead of neutrals, we suggest the Yang rug, which adds a fetching French Riviera twist to the range.
