Space-Age Spillproof Wine Glasses

San Francisco designers Superduperstudio’s cleverly shaped glasses make wine spillages at the dinner table a lot less likely.

Instead of a traditional stem the Saturn Wine Glasses boast an indented bowl at the base that tips to rest on its side when knocked, without spilling a precious drop. Hand-shaped and blown in a mould, each glass is slowly cooled to strengthen it before being fire polished to finish off the edges.
