Yesterday was day one of the 2011 Cape Homemakers Expo and as the doors opened, streams of Capetonians made their way into the CTICC to experience the multitude of home decor, technology, entertainment, security and building items on offer.
From luxury jacuzzi baths to delicate ceramic pieces, there’s something for everyone at the show. Many items have a special price for the duration of the expo, so it’s a great place to scoop some good deals.
Our favourite stands include VISI art director Etienne Hanekom’s Springbok braai range stand, Smeg’s well-designed kitchen stand and the Future Design exhibition. Beyond Innovation’s quirky Marie Biscuit and Lion Matches stools are two great products we haven’t seen before.
Running until Sunday at the CTICC, the 2011 Cape Homemakers Expo is a great way to catch up on what’s available in the broad arena of home improvement.
Have a look through our gallery at some of the offerings that caught our eye.
