South Africa’s largest design expo, Decorex, will take Joburg by storm from 5 to 9 August.
With six halls, over 700 exhibitors and all the latest news on local and international trends, this is a show you don’t want to miss.
Plascon will reveal the colour trends for 2012 with creative room settings by Laurence Brick, Tonic, Goet and A Point, and the SA Handmade Collection will put the spotlight on Shwe Shwe textiles in a contemporary setting.
The Sealy Beautiful and Basic Boudoirs initiative will challenge decor luminaries Janet Welthagen, Susan Hughes, Tanja Beyers, Leigh-Anne Shillaw, Bernard Baxburg and John Crawley to interpret the hottest trends in fabrics, textures and comfort in six unique bedroom settings.
And District Delicious will offer a blend of gourmet food, wine, kitchen gadgets and home entertaining have-to-haves. Be sure to pop in at the BOS Bar to see how modern the tradition of tea-drinking can be.
