1. Restoration Station X Yinka Ilori
“London-based Nigerian designer Yinka Ilori, (who we’ve previously featured here and here) has teamed up with not-for-profit social enterprise Restoration Station to create a colourful furniture collection,” says Online Editor Lindi Brownell Meiring. “Yinka encouraged the charity’s volunteers to use colour to tell their stories – and the results are just beautiful.”

3. Camille Walala Bank Mural
“In Cleveland, Ohio, the Waterloo Art District has become a hub for promoting the arts. London-based artist Camille Walala has created a a vibrant, eye-catching installation on the exterior of an old Cleveland bank building,” says Features Editor Amelia Brown. “The art has been created in the style of a vibrant geometric colour mosaic.”

4. Design Directory
“The Design Directory 2017-2018 is an illustrated annual resource for the output of South African craft producers and designers working with the Craft and Design Institute (CDI),” says Head of Content Tracy Greenwood. “The book retails at R290 and lists 200 craft producers and designers and their contact details. An index allows you to cross reference materials used with product type and place of manufacture.”
