You wouldn’t be mistaken for thinking these gold-plated lamps are part of an art installation.
Artists from the California-based Construction Zone, or COZO, take “passion for geometry and [expand] it into thought-provoking lighting and design pieces for the home”.
COZO began in 2014 as a large scale art installation known as HYBYCOZO. “To help create these large scale works we created a Kickstarter in which we made scale versions of the sculptures and offered them as lights,” explains the team. COZO now create and sell gold-plated and wooden lights, jewellery and clothing that supplement and fund the large sculptural exhibitions.
It’s impossible not to be mesmerised by their lamps.
