A London Regency building has been transformed into the Victorian-inspired Bronte restaurant and bar by acclaimed British designer Tom Dixon, together with the Design Research Studio.
Overlooking Trafalgar Square, the restaurant uses bold architectural elements, including floor to ceiling windows and a mezzanine level.
A pastel pink concrete bar serves as a strong focal point, surrounded by black swivel chairs, which not only pop against the neutral backdrop, but also help to combine contemporary style with classic features.
The theme, “Cabinet of Curiosities” is echoed throughout the space with the use of interesting, contrasting materials including a pewter cocktail bar, a green granite kitchen, green leather furniture and dark timber booths.
Customised Tom Dixon lighting, ranging from drop pendants to Plane wall lights, brighten the space.
