Durban-based textile brand Elle Kay (one of this year’s Design Indaba Emerging Creatives) creates bold and contemporary fabrics that embrace geometric and contemporary patterns.

Elle Kay was established in 2014 by textile and digital designer Luhandra Vorstman.

What began as a small home studio business has now expanded into a popular local label offering a selection of 18 fabrics that are each sold by the running metre.

All cloth is natural and locally sourced. Not only does Elle Kay stock fabrics and upholstery, the firm also has a homeware range, comprised of soft furnishings, table decor and accessories.
