Plascon 2016 Colour Forecast: Connect

We’ve featured “Element“,”Discovery” and “Heirloom,” and now it’s time for “Connect,” the final instalment in Plascon’s 2016 Colour Forecast, which aims to bring a bright and contemporary edge to any space.

This theme is a reaction against cold and simple minimalism, focusing on contrasting bold and primary colours and geometric shapes and lines. Connect uses abstract juxtaposition and colour as its main point of reference to evoke feelings of playfulness, experimentation and optimism. Using vivid colours and strong shapes inspired by the Memphis art movement, Connect brings mod to the forefront in this forecast.
