Swedish designer Elisabeth Fredriksson, a self-confessed colour addict, has always been inspired by art.
Having grown up surrounded by her mother’s oil paintings, Elisabeth started drawing from the age of 10. By the time she reached 15, photography became her passion. “I took pictures of pretty much everything,” she says on her website. “It was around this time my dad introduced me to Photoshop. For about 10 years, I made a lot of digital collages and developed my skills in PS.” She picked up graphic art while at art school, which remains her primary interest.
Like with NDTank’s illustrations, Elisabeth Fredriksson’s designs are available on wide variety of products on Society6, from art prints and iPhone cases to clothing, scatter cushions and duvet covers. We think her graphic designs translate beautifully onto bath mats, which is why we’ve chosen 20 of our favourites to illustrate her work.
