In celebration of Africa Month, the Department of Arts and Culture is collaborating with Design Indaba on the We Are Africa exhibition, featuring young African designers and their recent pieces.
The event will take place over three days from Thursday 26 May to Saturday 28 May 2016 at the Fox Junction event venue in Newtown.
The exhibition will present works in both a traditional and digital format by previous Emerging Creatives and the very best of the Design Indaba Africa.Now series.
Africa Month’s theme for 2016 is “There Shall be Peace and Friendship”, encouraging a better Africa through design.
The We Are Africa exhibition times are as follows:
Thursday 26 May: 3pm – 8:30pm
Friday 27 May: 11:30am – 10pm
Saturday 28 May: 9am – 6pm
