Renowned local director Gavin Elder is behind this clip, made for NOWNESS, showcasing the Camps Bay home of South African architects and creatives Gawie and Gwen Fagan, who we previously featured here.
The couple started building the house in 1964, and have been living in it since 1965. “It’s quite amazing how the house has adapted itself to different requirements as we have lived in it,” says Gwen.
The house boasts a number of statement features, including an oversized chimney and a door made from cut up copper hot water cylinders.
