WORDS Lindi Brownell Meiring VIDEO via Guldies on YouTube
Swedish animator Alexander Unger, whose stop motion animations have gained him more than 235 000 YouTube subscribers, has uploaded a brand-new video created from 2 500 still photographs.
Entitled Going Fishing, the project took months to complete, seeing Alexander, otherwise known as Guldies, taking 4 530 pictures in total.
“I have never worked so hard,” he says on YouTube. “The animation is filled to the brim with new stuff I’ve never tried before. I animated with branches and leaves, paper, clay, fabric, fishing lures, forks and stones and moss and everything I could think of.”
