Tom Dixon’s Office Furniture Range

Renowned British designer Tom Dixon has released a new range of furniture that blurs the lines between the home and the office.

This flexible range includes a minimalist Boom lamp and a Victorian-inspired Slab School Desk and Slab Desk.

The Boom Lamp is influenced by task lamps used by machinists and draftsmen. The original design has been simplified adding a contemporary edge.

The Slab School Desk is made from solid oak, with rounded edges and a traditional inkwell converted into a hole for cables. Another interpreted original feature is a long groove for stationery along the edge of the table.

The Slab Desk is a larger version of the Slab School Desk, the perfect addition to a co-working space.

The concept behind the collection is to break down the boundaries between the two spaces, with the opportunity to use these statement pieces in the office or in the home thanks to their versatile and stylish design.

Dixon has also updated Cube, his existing range of office accessories, which are now available in an alloy finish.
