The Melrose Gallery, set in the stylish Melrose Arch Urban Precinct in Johannesburg, focuses on contemporary African art.
Situated on the High Street, the 290m2 space is a collaboration between Justin Divaris, Clint Strydom and Craig Mark.
The gallery will exhibit contemporary South African and African art. Craig hopes the gallery “provides a warm home and contemporary platform for talented artists of Africa to meet, exchange ideas, network, exhibit and perform and for collectors to view and acquire quality artworks”.
The gallery, which is now open to the public, features artists such as Willie Bester, Esther Mahlangu, Clint Strydom, Arlene Amaler-Raviv, Anastasia Pather, Mbongeni Buthelezi, Gavin Rain, Loyiso Mkize, Ndabuko Ntuli, Roel Roelofsen and Heidi Hadaway.
The Melrose Gallery is situated at Shop 10, Melrose Arch, Johannesburg. For more information, visit their Facebook page.
